CRKN Open Access Journals List
With the goal of improving the discoverability of gold open access journals, CRKN maintains a list of open access journals supported by CRKN member institutions. Formerly managed through Simon Fraser University’s CUFTS software, this list is now distributed to link resolvers to allow more researchers to see and access this content through library catalogues.

Social Media and Open Social Scholarship
As a tool for sharing knowledge and building networks among researchers and the public, social media plays an important role in open social scholarship. For the scholarly community, participating in social media can be an effective way to discover research, build professional networks, and engage with the broader community. It is also a space in which scholars can construct and curate their digital identity (Hildebrandt and Couros; Marshall 2015; Willinsky 2010).

Le directive de l’Union Européenne sur le droit d’auteur dans the marché unique numérique
Le 26 mars 2019, le Parlement européen a adopté la directive sur les droits d’auteurs dans le marché unique numérique, une législation destinée à mettre à jour les lois sur le droit d’auteur à l’ère numérique dans l’ensemble de l’Union européenne. La directive a été approuvée par le Conseil de l’Union européenne et est entrée en vigueur le 7 juin 2019. Les États membres disposent désormais de deux ans pour transposer la directive en droit national.
