Le 6e rassemblement annuel du Partenariat canado-australien pour l’érudition ouverte (the Canadian-Australian Partnership for Open Scholarship, CAPOS), tenu du 2 au 3 décembre 2024 à l’Université Flinders d’Adélaïde, a réuni un groupe dynamique d’universitaires, de décideurs politiques, d’experts du secteur et de défenseurs de la cause pour discuter de sujets liés aux biens communs numériques, aux plateformes et aux cadres de connaissances émergents dans le domaine de la recherche ouverte. Le thème « Biens communs, plateformes et cadres de connaissances émergents (Commons, Platforms and Emerging Knowledge Frameworks) » a fourni un forum dynamique de discussion et d’échange sur la recherche numérique ouverte telle qu’elle existe actuellement, ainsi que sur les opportunités futures de collaboration internationale, d’élaboration de politiques, de recherche interdisciplinaire et d’échange créatif.

The 12th annual gathering of the INKE (Implementing New Knowledge Environments) partnership took place early in May 2025 in the picturesque town of Wolfville, Nova Scotia Supported by SSHRC and Acadia University, the gathering featured a mix of formal presentations, roundtable discussions, and informal networking opportunities, its central focus remained clear: research creation, community engagement, and open social scholarship.

The 6th annual gathering of the Canadian Australian Partnership for Open Scholarship (CAPOS), held from 2-3 December 2024 at Flinders University in Adelaide, brought together a vibrant group of scholars, policymakers, industry experts, and advocates to discuss topics related to digital commons, platforms and emerging knowledge frameworks in open scholarship. The theme, “Commons, Platforms and Emerging Knowledge Frameworks,” provided a dynamic forum for discussion and exchange on open digital scholarship as it currently exists, as well as future opportunities for international collaboration, policy development, interdisciplinary research, and creative exchange.

On April 17, 2019, the Government of British Columbia announced a $3.26 million investment in Open Educational Resources (OER) through BCcampus. The funding was announced at the Cascadia Open Education Summit held at Simon Fraser University’s Harbour Centre Campus. BCcampus is a provincially funded agency with a mandate to “provide teaching, learning, educational technology, and open education support to the post-secondary institutions of British Columbia” (“Our Mandate” n.d.).

Le 17 avril 2019, le gouvernement de la Colombie-Britannique a annoncé un investissement de 3,26 millions de dollars dans les ressources éducatives libres (REL) par l’intermédiaire de BCcampus. Le financement a été annoncé lors du Cascadia Open Education Summit tenu au Harbour Campus Centre de l’Université Simon Fraser. BCcampus est un organisme financé par la province dont le mandat est de un mandat visant à soutenir l’éducation postsecondaire ouverte, y compris l’apprentissage, l’enseignement et la technologie éducative, en Colombie-Britannique (« Our Mandate » s.d.).
